We are committed to reaching 10,000 refugee women-led businesses and building 100 refugee small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by 2035.
Because we believe that there can be no refugee self-reliance and lasting impact of refugee businesses without access to affordable, flexible, and sustainable business financing, we are working in Uganda to offer a solution to that.
We are taking small steps towards the bigger goal; we know what matters are small everyday actions.
In the next 5 years, our goal is to achieve the following results:
Research
Find evidence: Conduct market research and assessments to identify business opportunities.
Build
Utilise evidence: Adapt the research and create business concepts and proposals to support the REBU Model.
Finance
Concretizing the foundation: Mobilise more and better investments to support refugee businesses
By 2035, we aim to create refugee businesses that are self-sustaining, generating income and employment for many refugee youth.
